TRC believes that Water Whanau should strive with equal rights without any discrmination or prejudice. We will strive to achieve a cleaner environment and a prosperous economy. We wish to enlighten students in our efforts to keep the whanau great.

We value it
We as a team will promote cleaner school grounds and more plantations around the school. We value our environment and believe that it should be preserved for the future. With us in power, we will discount prices on electric cars, and scooters to reduce co2 emissions, along with encouraging walking, biking, and scootering to school. Due to the lack of bins around the school TRC would like to place bins near populated areas.

TOURISM INDUSTRY/BORDER CLOSURE
Keeping You Safe
We think that the borders should remain close to prevent anymore covid-19 cases until further notice. We understand that this will continue the downfall of the tourism industry and have plans to recover it. We will support businesses by using the wage subsidy scheme along with supporting local businesses.
WHANAU ISSUE
For The Happiness Of You
TRC has identified multiple issues around the whanau. We want to solve these effectively for the efficiency of our Whanau and the happiness of the students in it. We have noticed the overwhelming amount of screentime and laptop work that has been set for us each day with the current power holders. We believe that the amount of screen learning we do should decrease. Bookwork should increase in an effort to assist students’ health and wellbeing. We have also noticed the lack of cleaning equipment around the whanau and will provide more equipment for cleaners such as vacuums, brooms etc, if you vote for us.

REFERENDUMS
We reflect the people
TRC believes that the end of life choice is a bill that should be passed. With us in power, people who request euthanasia will require family support and permission.Â
TRC thinks that Cannabis is a drug to be legalised. Cannabis high in CBD must be recommended legally by doctors and planted here in NZ to help suffering people who have terminal illnesses. You must be over 20 in order to purchase and use the substance. Each household is allowed to grow 2 plants. The plants higher in THC should be limited to 10g intake daily.

END OF YEAR TRIP
We Want What You Want
TRC wants to ensure a fun trip at the end of the year. For the end of year trip we want what the people want, you choose what is right, we have many great plans and look forward to distributing them with you. The end of year trip is something you should choose and something you deserve however we do need to make it covid-19 proof by having a back up plan in case the restrictions are put back into place . If we gain leadership we will send out a google form for the end of year trip ideas. The right choice is always the best one.

I think that I have the capability to manage this position efficiently and that will just allow me to work towards another goal. My name is Navdeep and I am a candidate for the year 10 electorate. I am here today in front of you all to inform you about all the great things I will bring to my whanau, As a member of the TRC, I have ideas for the year 9 and 10s end of year trip, after talking to my fellow peers, we have come to a conclusion in which the movies, bowling/timezone and ice skating are the top choices. As a covid alternative I have thought of a backup, don't worry it will be just as great as the current plan. Another policy me and my party want to come into play is less homework, I want to start a movement known as #education reformed, the education system must change, we are given too much work yet we don't learn it all. Us as students being given a high workload, this must change less homework and more productive learning join me and the TRC party to make things right.
